Following her experience in the CTV studios, she decided to take on a co-operative education placement at CHEX Television in her hometown of Peterborough, Ontario. Following her high school broadcast experience she became a volunteer at Rogers Television in Collingwood for the summer before diving into University with her pro-active attitude.
